Membership of Chew is limited to 600.

Membership runs from April, but applications can be made throughout the year. There may be a waiting list so please enquire with the Membership Secretary on any current vacancies or waiting list.

Any dingy launched at the club must be registered and have paid the appropriate fee. Payment does not guarantee you a boat space, provision of boat space is entirely dependant upon availability and issued on a first come first served basis, by the boat park manager. Anyone considering buying a new boat may wish to discuss availability of space before purchase, especially if over 16 foot in length.

FROSTBITE MEMBERSHIP

CVLSC offers members of other sailing clubs who don't offer racing during the winter the ability to join the club temporarily for our Frostbite series which runs from Jan to Mar and includes 2 races per Sunday (am and pm). The fee is £50 per sailor (£25 per junior) plus £100 refundable gate deposit key. You are also entitled to leave your boat at the club for the duration of your membership. If you wish to take advantage of this offer then please download the application form and return it to our Membership Secretary with your fee.
