We are reluctantly selling our GP14, but ideally we would like to sell it within the Club for ease of transfer of ownership, and so that someone gets to enjoy ‘Bluebird’ on our lake.
She comes in general good condition for her age, and a bit of work has been done to the hull and interior over the years, so is watertight. There are two jib sails and one mainsail. The tiller needs a bit of attention in terms of how it is raised and lowered and held in place while sailing, and also the centre board needs a bungee to hold it in place as the stopper has long since been replaced by a makeshift one, but this has also now fallen off. There are no reefing eyes on the mainsail, but apparently these can be added if needed. All sheets and shrouds/mast are in good condition and the self bailers work well.
It comes with a road trailer, although one of the tyres needs replacing/mending as it must have a slow puncture. It also has a cover, which is slightly too big, but fits ok and keeps the boat generally dry.
We are hoping to buy a smaller dinghy and so would only like to cover the cost of the new boat, which is £400.
Please feel free to have a look at it in boat park space #A47
