I put some effort into trying to race rig it a couple of years ago so has more than just the basic controls. Sadly my kids did not get into sailing the way I did so it’s time for the boat to go.

Cornish Cove Boat

Very pretty 13’ Sailing Dinghy in GRP with wood trim and thwarts, wooden mast and spars. Hand built in 2008 by Paul Webster of Trecarne Boats, Redruth.

Comes complete with cream mainsail and two jibs (one small, one new large), launching trolley and new cover. Has full buoyancy tanks and stainless steel rubbing strakes.

This boat has been sailed and carefully maintained by one owner on the Chew Valley Lake since new and was rubbed down and revarnished in 2012. The sail is balanced lug rig with bowsprit and fitted with two sets of rowlocks for rowing if needed. There are two possible positions for the mast so that it can be sailed without a jib. The mainsail can be reefed. It is based upon the mould of a Falmouth oyster punt.

Clean condition not important but must have sound hull, elderly pensioner able to make some repairs. Trailer not required but trolley must be in good condition. A trolley nose wheel an advantage.
